2 weekends ago...

o7.24.o5 - driving range, brantford
the rain let up again for us.. after a filling dinner @ casey's.. to let us go to the driving range.. i think i hit a couple pretty far (not even 100 yards?!) and then a couple bounced off the walls and went into esther's booth.. oops.. hahaha.. that basket was humongous and sadly i was sore afterwards T_T i should get my dad to show me how to do a proper swing.. i feel like such a retard :D




o7.24.o5 - brant park, brantford
after having a couple slices of mmm dairy queen ice cream cake (happy bday elisa!!) we finally decided to go over to brant park.. i must say they have a VERY nice pool... it's just plain round and it gets deepest in the middle.. but probably only 5' or so cuz i could barely touch the bottom w/o going totally under... was kinda weird swimming around in the rain.. but atleast it kept all the people away.. only crazy people swim around while it's dark and rainy.. that was fun!! first swim of the summer.. how sad :P

rudie and i went to monsoon restaurant in toronto for lunch.. was pretty empty but was a very nice lounge and restaurant... the food was good!! i especially like the fish and chips.. although the chips were yams instead of potatoes (NICE touch!!).. so much fish though.. was so full!! the pad thai was ok, but i guess nothing beats natchos or watever its called.. dessert was really good too.. cept the lemon meringue stuff was so lemony i kept getting shivers.. stupid waiter just had to ask.. "sparkling water? or TAP WATER?" -_- geez i guess i will have the TAP WATER!!
